NASLite Network Attached Storage

I just purchased and installed second hard drive. It is a WD2500JB, which is supposed to be a 250GB drive. Once formatted, however, it only shows as 125GB. What did I do wrong? I am using NASLite+ 1.5. First drive is Maxtor 80GB. Shouldn't I get more than 125GB on my second drive?

Thanks, Tony. It looks like it may be my MoBo (ASUS P5A).

I have exactly the same problem with a 160Gb drive. If you look in the log you will see reference to not being able to use LBA48 and it 'shrinks' the drive to a max of 127Gb. This is a mobo/BIOS limitation. I have a Gigabyte dinosaur mobo and it does this. Seems the answer is to get V2 and use a PCI IDE card which get around this limitation. Out of interest, have you set the BIOS to 'no drives intsalled' on that channel? Apparently this sometimes fixes it but it didn't for me.
