Hello,

As it so happens, I have been using WD 120 on my NASLite server box and now I need another hard drive to back up a 200 GB Seagate - ATA. What HDs are recommended?

CPU AMD 800mhz
MOBO Astek circa-2001

Thanks

Personaly partial to the Seagates. Not a fan of the IBM/Hitachi drives at all.
No complaints about the Maxtor drives either. (Now owned by Seagate)

I have a few Seagates--250 and 300GB. The 300 GB was sold as an Upgrade Kit. It took me time to figure out how to install that since it has this DDO technology which required that there is something written to the MBR I believe.

When that machine, a non-naslite, boots, it always gives info about the DDO in the booting sequence.

So... my question is this: what large drives are safe to use with NASLite? I am using ATA 100.

Thanks
