Tony/Ralph - Can you give a little more insight on what RAID cards will or will not be supported? Based on your previous post I looked at the CompUSA website for a "cheap" card based on the ITE chipset but could not really find anything.

Any word on UPnP on the NAS?

NASLite-2 will not support UPnP. A separate product that is based on the NASLite-2 core will support UPnP as well as a number of other media-related technologies. Due to it’s dependency on the NASLite-2 core, the media product will be finalized after NASLite-2 is released. We don’t have a name for it yet, but it’s definitely next in line.

I'm building V2 boxes now (4 more PCs enroute) - just to provide a reliable home for "too many video files". Unfortunately, I apparently really *need* UpnP support for some of these hardware media clients we're looking at:

We're really trying to take all these PCs/laptops out of the picture...NL being considered as an "appliance".

Do you plan on offering an upgrade to the UpNP version for current V2 owners? Our plans called for 7 licenses by weeks end until this UpnP issue came up. Can't say I would necessarily stop the project...but I wouldn't be happy at totally losing all utility from our current licenses.
