i am currently a licenced user of NASLite+ (Version 1.1)

if i were to buy server suite would that allow me to...
use 2 copies of 1.6 ? (on the two different licence numbers i would have)
or 1 copy of 1.1 and 1 copy of 1.6

The SS will assign an additional SS license that is good for 2 servers. If you own v1.1, purchasing the SS will license you to run up to 3 server.

Hope that helps.

Do I read it right that with the Server Suite I'm allowed to run NASlite+ USB on two different machines simultanously?

I didn't read that one in the product description so I bought an additional license of NASlite+ USB for my second machine a couple of days ago.

Could someone of ServerElements post an answer to my question and if appropiate tell me if it would be possible to return my (obsolete) USB license?

TIA
Kelsey

The suite comes with 2 licenses - one for the included NASLite+ and one for the included NASLite+ for USB Flash. That entitles you to two parallel licenses, so you can run 2 copies of NASLite+ for USB flash simultaneously as you intend.

You cannot trade in a license. Once the license is assigned to you, it belongs to you until you opt to discard of it. You can transfer your license to another party if you choose to do so, but once you no longer possess a valid license, you should stop using the software.

Hope that makes sense.

Tony, I recently purchased NasLite suite for my other machine and it only came with one license code.

1. Are you saying that this same license code can is allowed to be used on 2 different usb keys? Or is there another different license code somewhere that I am not seeing?
2. Also, I have a license for USB 1.4 can I use it on 1.5 to syn-up all machines to be on the same base?

Thank You for clarifications,
Vadim

The Suite uses different keys, so the suite key can be used on up-to 2 different servers while a + or a + for USB key can be used only on the product it came with.

Great. Thanks for that clarification.
My second question was also license related. I have a license for USB+ version 1.4 can I use it on version 1.5 to sync-up all machines to be on the same version?
