Just for forum reference, in case others experience the same things I have. I moved my Dad onto a brand spanking new AMD64 rig so my NAS box got an upgrade. Here are some specs:

So basically I went to a P4 1.6ghz with 512 of RAMBUS (suck) and a Netgear GA311 Gigabit card (suggested by a few forum members) I ordered from justdeals.com (great website btw, my only order from them but got my shipment quick and $12 with free shipping seems pretty cheap to me, refurbished but I only spent $12 a card so who cares). Anywho, here are some discwriggler results:

I am extremely happy with my NASlite box. Wonderful software, I don't have enough good things to say about it. Oh and this is being piped through my new D-Link GamerLounge - DGL-4300 Wireless 108G Gaming Router. A great piece of hardware IMHO. Thanks to everyone who helped, you guys are awesome.
