I just purchased NASLITE+ and am in the process of getting my box setup and my question at this point is..... if I have (2) 250g drives installed, will I see 2 individual drives on the network or will these 2 drives combine for (1) 500g volume? I am assuming I will have 2 separate drive letters ???

Thanks,

Eden,

Thanks for the reply. I got everything configured and I do see individual drives. Also, after I posted the question, I took a closer look at the NASLite+ manual and saw that I would have Disk1,2, etc.

Everything is up and running and now transferring data over. :D I think NASLite is the best thing since sliced bread. Very easy to setup and use as far as I can see right now. I am amazed at how fast things seem. I was using a Redhat 9.0 box before and it didn't seem to be as fast as NASLite is.

The NASLite box is a 333mhz P2 with 192meg of ram, 120g, 80g and 40g drives.

Thanks again for the reply and thanks to the author of NASLite+ !!!

Gary Stout,

As a proud owner of Naslite you might want to share your server with the world, if you got a camera you can post a pic in the Hardware section.
