I would like to install Slimserver (http://www.slimdevices.com) on an NASLite powered system. Is this possible? Has anyone done this?
Clark Connect (http://www.clarkconnect.com) supports Slimserver, but FreeNAS does not. (I realize that Clark Connect is a larger, more complicated OS.)
I'm new to this forum, but could not find any reference to Slimserver.

Slimserver is a nice and feature-full application, however it is a Perl application and Perl can be HUGE. Hypothetically, to support Slimserver with the current NASLite, NASLite will have to be about 25Megs pre-boot and potentially run in a 64Meg RAMDisk. Those are scary numbers considering the project goals ;-)
