Just installed the 4th HDD. Started "format" ... all I'm getting on the monitor is:
hdd: drive not ready for command
hdd: status error: status=0x10 { seek complete }

... this has been going on for 45 minutes (HDD = 160gb)
Thanks.

With the "hdd: drive not ready for command" messages just pouring out, how can I shutdown the server safely - there is 1/2 terabyte of data at risk and I just don't want to kill the power.

After 3 hours I had to kill the power to stop the endless messages. I ended up formatting the drive outside of NASLite using Paragon Hard Disk Manager. Re-installed in the NASLite server and all boots up fine with Disk-4. But the server is just not running right - decide to format Disk-4 from NASLite Admin (IDE-1 Slave), and formatting fails - identifies the disk as ATAPI(?), and then removes Disk-4 completely. Any ideas ... ? I'm lost at this point.
Thanks.
