1. Should multiple drives have their jumpers set as they would if you were being used with windows. Master/Slave or all to cable select?

2. Should hard drives be "disabled" in bios?

colonelsnow,

Its up to you, some users including me use the jumpers to set master / slave, and some use cable select.

Its best to disable the hard drives in the bios.

Since most of us will use older hardware to install NASLite on, it is best to check with the mfg's recommendations. Some BIOS's in older systems can be very particular about choosing cable select or setting a jumper on the drives.
