I have my NASLite+ system up and it is pretty cool indeed. I got a great deal on 4 - 250GB drives. I am really looking for the ability to use that 4th drive. My BIOS will boot from USB so the million dollar question is "How do I make a bootable USB memeory stick" .

I presume that I have to get the .ISO image onto the USB device. I am now jumping onto new ground. Has anyone done this? Could you post the "How To"?

If the answer is: I need to buy NASLite+ for USB then so be it.

Thanks Tony for a really nice solution.

I remember the UK Computer mag Micromart ran a feature where the guy used the floppy version and put the files on to compact flash and booted from that, the config was still saved to floppy disk though.
The link is on this website but i just looked and its broken.

I am sure this would have been covered before, have you tried doing a search of these forums.

or if you have a scsi card and scsi cdrom drive you could use this to boot naslite+ and would still be able to use 4 disks.

If you can't acheive what you want then the purchase of USB would be worthwhile, plus it will help any future development of naslite
