I just upgraded my network to gigabit switching. I seated a Netgear GA311 card (mentioned in this Forum number of times) in my NASLite+ server (which also a NIC on the motherboard), and re-booted. NASLite+ would not log on to the network. Is there some way to make NASLite+ discover or use a particular NIC? Using the on board Ethernic NIC works fine. Did I miss a setup step?
Thanks.

A difficult to find BIOS setting was able to disable the on board LAN ... the Netgear GA311 card and NASLite+ are working fine ... now.

NASLite will configure and use the first NIC it finds during hardware scan at boot time. As you found out, the on-board card was taking precedence. Always make sure that the NIC you intend to use is the only one available.
