I finally got the usb version to work (motherboard usb boot issues) but I noticed when it is booting up the it is doing a search for hde and hdg. Since there are only for HD allowed (hda, hdb, hdc, hdd) why is it looking for hde and hdg and how do I stop it. It is taking an enormous amount of time to boot.

Also, I noticed that it says Lan speed is 1000. This does mean that it is Gbit lan?

My guess will be that your hardware is misconfigured. What you are describing is strange unless you have onboard support for more than 4 IDE drives.

I think I have figured it out. Looking at the screen info during start NASLite+ is looking for SATA drives that don't exist. I'll have to figure a way to disable this either in the bios or on the motherboard. The weir thing is that NASLite+ doesn't use SATA so why would it be looking for them?

Naslite does not support SATA so i would say that it wont look for them.

Post details or your hardware, MB, on what ide channels the HD are on etc.
