hello,, I am running nashlite and I would like to upgrade to the + version and i am concerned about data loss. will my drives need to be configured with the upgrade?

Also, with the cd version do I loose the opportunity to run four drives since the cd will require one connection on my ide channel?

Data will not be lost since NASLite+ will mount and share the NASLite-SMB, NFS, etc. drives outright. You will need an IDE slot for the boot CD.
