well i am very gald to say that this software is working WONDERS :D .
i set it up last night and its gladly servering 4pcs around the house. it stores all of the movies and music i have downloaded and i hope to be able to store all of my dvds on it.

i gave it a few tests to see how well it operates under "streneous" conditions. i played 4 different movie files around 500mb, on each of the four computers. playing them was the easy part, no "lagging" or stuttering of video occured.
the only problem i have on each of the four computers is the actuall accessing of the disk on the sever. it takes a while, or moves "slower" until it accesses the file. that is the only problem i have thus far.

other than that lil' kink, i LOVE this program! THANK YOU "Server Elemets" if i may call yall that.

p.s If any one is kind enough to give me any insight on how i can alleviate the aforemention problem, please dont hesitate to drop me some assistance! :D
the specs of the machine i am currently using as the server are as follows :
Compaq 4000 series
233mhz processor
64mb RAM
200gb HDD----which the "server software" only sees 186.9GB of it
Thabk you in advance for any help!
