Greetings,

Pulling my hair out-bought the deluxe suite last night and have two USB thumm drives that I've tried and same results with both. Here's a high level of what's going on;

-Boot CD of NAS for USB
-Create Superfloppy or Filesystem version of NAS for USB
-Remove CD
-Change BIOS to boot to usb-fdd or usb-hdd
-Boot system with USB thumm drive
-Boots up to initial config screen
-Change several fields (workgoup, PW, Network settings, etc.)
-Choose save configuration
-Screen indicates succesful save, I see activity on thumm light
-Choose shutdown or re-start
-System re-starts and my config HAS NOT BEEN SAVED!

Bleh! Any ideas? I'm really wanting the USB to work as I don't want to install a floppy drive in this system. One USB thumm drive is 8mb (yes, 8mb, it was a freebie giveaway when I went to IBM in the Silicon Valley for a presentation) and the other is a Kingston 256mb purchased today. Both go through the exact same sequence as above. I know neither of them are physically set for write protection because obviously they can be written to during the intial USB-NFS Lite creation. I've also put them into another Linux system and looked and seen the files on the drive.

Any help much appreciated!

Rodolfo

NASLite+ for USB Flash v1.1, available now, uses a modified MBR so compatibility should be greatly improved. More USB Flash Disks should work with more boards, especially when using the partition format (Option 2).
