Is Software Raid going to be available soon? It seems like it would be super to have that feature.

i hope so we all want it ;)

The simple fact of the matter is that most people that go to the bother of building a NAS do so as they have important data. So RAID of some sort is the next logical step.

As for security... i agree... but its a can of worms that will always need constant attention. ;)

Yes, I've been looking for a simple RAID solution for a while now, and I thought I'd found it, but then discovered it doesn't support RAID. Well, to be fair I have found it, I just have to wait for it to mature.

Looking forward to it.

Raid support, print server, security, ide adapter and SATA support would really cap a great product, I'd pay my $25 again to have these features but as I've said in previous threads someone has to get down and do the work at Serer elements and that takes time and money so lets be patient and I'm sure the wishlist will get answered lets give the guys some time to do it?
I know open source downloads are available so perhaps a user programming idea would work, it's a bit out of my league so I could be way off the mark and maybe this is not the way Tony wants to go on this but he may appreciate some input from people using the software who have the relevant knowledge to add to the system :?:
