Has anyone used the usb key with a motherboard which supports usb 1.1 and not usb 2 yet if so did it work ok ?? I have only used usb 2 m/b so far but have come across m/b but it is usb 1.1.

That's common. I have a number of PC-Chips boards that will boot from anything you throw at them.
