I love NASLite+; I'm using it on my home network and have recommended it to many of my friends. I was wondering, tho, what do NASlite users recommend for something that works just like NASLite but allows an administrator to add users so there could be some simple file protection (i.e. no delete *)? I've looked but so far I've only found OpenFiler which uses an external authentication, no self-contained user management.

Thanks!

essentiually open filter or roll your own distro.

there is simply nothing that has the ease of NASlite.

caveat: if you go commercial there are plenty of options but they cost cost cost
