Does anyone know if a SATA to IDE converter will work with NASlite ? (there are some cheap SATA drives availabel) To use SATA drives on a IDE motherboard, with this or similar converter I assume could be used.....does anyone know?

That converter does the opposite of what you want. It lets you use an IDE drive on an SATA bus.

You want something to let you use an SATA drive on an IDE bus. If you find one, it will probably work. NASLite cares about the controller, not the drive.
