I'm new to NL and before install it on my pc I need a simple information:
does NL+ support file size larger than 4 GB via the SMB/CIFS protocol?

Cheers,
Giordano

If memory serves, no.

It is so worth it to spend the $30.00 USD for the 2.x version of NL. The performance is better and the feature set is a bit bigger.

Hi Mike.
I intend to use an old Pentium 200 MMX with 160 MB of RAM and 3x250 GB hard drives (or similar). I think that NL-2 needs a more recent hardware to work properly.
Am I wrong?

Cheers,
Giordano

No, it should work just fine. I was running the same basic setup when I upgraded to 2.x. You will notice that it will perform better on newer more powerful hardware though.
