hi! I'm runnig naslite+ on a P166 with a hot 555a ver3.0 Motherboard. Now I tried to connect a samsung 400gb hdd to the system. As recommended I changed the BIOS settings for hdd to NONE. But if i try to format the disk naslite builds a partition but is unable to format the disk it aborts with the comment like if you tried to format a cdrom. if you now enter the webinterface of naslite the hdd is shown with the right size and a partition but with an invalid filesystem.
For interest I setted the 32GB limit jumper on the hdd - here formatting was no problem - but logically just with 32 GB.
The use of the samsung diskmanager didn't improve the situation.
It's a brand new hdd - use under winxp is no problem.
Is there a possibility to get the hdd working at full capacity?

I had problems getting NASLite to play with some new 500Gb drives and fixed the problem by upping the memory to 512MB RAM.

My understanding is, and I will be corrected, is that at boot the OS check disk fsck needs memory to complete the check. The bigger the HDD the more memory it needs.

Anyway, I was getting weird stuff until someone recommended to me to up the memory, I did and bingo.
