Hi all

Just wanted to say that this is a very good bit of software. I started with the NASLite floppy version and liked it well enough to go for the + version. I would like to see the floppy version support the higher speeds of the CD version. If the size of the floppy is the issue what about a 2 disk install? I would like to get full use of the 2 IDE ports on my board AND the 7Mb/sec. transfer speed. I guess it's our nature to want more than we have.

I also have a question or two; What would be a good mobo to buy to make full use of the UDMA/133 speed? and, Has anyone had any bad experiences with Hitachi drives? I found that their 250Gb ATA/100 drive is the lowest $ per Gb I've found ($0.52) for a large drive.

Thanks

There is nothing wrong with wanting more than we have

We did evaluate the possibility of having a 2 floppy version, however, in such a case it will not be possible for the server to recover unattended in the event of an unexpected reboot (power failure). That is the primary reason for the single floppy package.

We are close to a single floppy solution with improved Mbit performance, but not quite there yet. There are some minor issues that we need to work out before things will fall in place. In the following months we'll have a better idea of where we stand.

Thanks for your support.
