Hi @all

can someone tell me...

-does this new version support add on ide cards like HPT370 or Promise...
(not the raid funktion, but only the use of it to have a faster controller)

-is it possible to submit uid's and gid's and not fixed to uid/gid 98 like in
NASLite

-can I aktivate a simple raidsystem linear/raid0 to get one large volume

-does it use a jornalling FS like ext3/XFS/reiser and does it have FS-support
for files greater 2GB

sorry for my asking, but I haven't found any detailed featurelist of the new
NASLite+ version.

Thanks in advance

Wanninger

Hi wanninger,

NASLite+ is designed to deliver maximum performance from obsolete hardware. It is extremely fast and compact, running in a tiny 4MB RAM Disk.

The features you list below will drastically increase the size, minimum hardware requirements, as well as complexity of what otherwise is a lean and capable community file server.

Plans to provide such capabilities in a different product are currently under way.

Thanks for your interest. ;-)
