Hello. I am a very happy user of v1.5. :D

Recently, when I boot the Naslite box it takes 5 to 7 minutes to boot, where it used to take around 1 or 2. Also, the screen stays on "attempting to mount Disk filesystem". After a few minutes more, the screen will blank and will not come back regardless of how much pound the keyboard.
However, the server does work. I can telnet and use the web interface. I can mount drives etc.

Any ideas? Should I be concerned?

I'm using an old Dell Optiplex GX260 with two pata drives 300gb & 200gb.

I only use the server for backups, so it stays off most of the week. Therefore, it gets booted every Friday or Saturday night.

Again, I'm a very happy customer. Thanks in advance fpr the help.

How many drives? I'll check the drive cables first. That or the disk is headed downhill. What does smart for that drive say? Cant think of anything else. Unplug that disk and see if the boot time improves. It's obviously getting stuck on the mount, so it's got to be disk related.

Good idea. I'll try unplugging each drive separately and see how the machine reacts.

The SMART for each drive looks ok.

Thanks again for the suggestions.
