Just wondering if I can use a USB-Connected HDD for storage with NASLite+. I've tried searching the forums but all the USB stuff I find seems to be about booting from USB.

Thanks!
Kirk

Thanks for the quick reply. I only see a USB version of NASLite-2... since my bios won't boot from USB I assume that means I need to wait until v2 of NASLite+ is released?

Also... if I go ahead and purchase v1.x is the upgrade to v2 free?

Thanks again!

Hi Kirk,

Even though your bios does not from from USB doesnt mean you can't use Naslite-V2. suppiled is a kicker this is a floppy disk and may aid in booting the USB pen etc. and I got a couple of kickers with other drivers on that may well get that usb pen booted.

regarding the upgrades once you make a purchase you are entitled to big discounts on various products, but V2 is not a free upgrade.

if you want a kicker to test if your pen is detected let me know.
