I've been looking around for some NAS solution for over a year now, but they always seem to lack one or two of my requirements:
1. CVS server
I do a little coding now and then using a few different computers and operating systems. It would be really nice to have some version crontrol system (SVN would work too).
2. Backup
Something as simple as:
tar zcf <disk2>:backup-<date>.tar.gz <disk1:>:stufftobackup
would be enough, but it should run automagically every night. (Even better would be if it would create an ISO and burn it onto a CD-RW/DVD-RW, that way I could just change the disk each day.)
I guess adding these two things would make NASLite not so lite though.
Any suggestions?
