First, congratulations on version 2 !!!

It is full of welcome additions that only makes this excellent product even better. Hats off guys.

One of the great additions is RSYNC. I was hoping that NAS Lite would provide for some backup mechanism, so RSYNC is an excellent choice.

I do have a question about the use of RSYNC within NAS Lite. If I did some research, I might find the answer, but I thought I would be lazy and ask here first ... not to mention that this might help others.

Can I create an RSYNC "connection" between to NAS Lite boxes so that one box backs up one the other remotely located box ? I guess what I am asking is if NAS Lite includes an RSYNC client ?

Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

The rsync daemon in NASLite-2 is auto configured and launched in the same manner as the rest of the services. It will export each disk as a module that can then be manipulated by rsync on the client side. There is no facility to run RSYNC as a client on NASLite-2.
