Hello,
I am a new user of NasLite 2 64bit. I was wondering if is possible to use this software with NasLite http://snapraid.sourceforge.net/

It seems very interesting. Maybe in the future releases of NasLite ?

Thank you.

p.s.: sorry for my bad english

You cannot add any software to NAsLite. If you want a RAID function, you have to add a HARDWARE RAID card (if you need a reference, there are plenty of discussions on the subject on the forum). Software RAID cards will not work.

I really want to be able to use this software. Have a small windows installation running right now.

It would be so useful to me if Server Elements offered a workable (low cost for mere mortals) MAID system (massive array of idle disks). My preference would be network disk storage blocks which could be added as needed (iscsi. ata over ethernet, Iocell's LPX protocol).

We kinda use disks like paper here. Really don't need a true 24/7 server. Snapraid looks like good stuff to me.
