I am reasonably new to Linux, so are there any advantages to the Linux ext3 filesystem used by NL2, over the Windoze NTFS filesystem?

NTFS is MS, so naturally, that can't be used in any Linux system, but I would love to hear from Linux experts as to the virtues of the ext3 filesystem, if there are any worth mentioning, with respect to NTFS.

Have a look at this web site which gives plenty of explanations on different files systems.
