 Post subject: deleted folder

at work a folder got deleted Friday by mr nobody :? has anybody used Acronis drive recovery to get stuff back ?

I know that it works on ntfs volumes does it work on an ext volume ? has anybody done it ?
I know that you will have to sort out the stuff it drags off the drive as it has no file name .

like windows if its not been over written it should come back - not sure if acronis will do it - never tried - try it and see - if not boot the box with a full linux distro and use something from their range - plug a usb drive in to save the files back to

used the disk doctor recovery in acronis seams to have worked got loads of stuff just going through it all :(
