Steve, looking at the pictures, quickly reading the text, I think we're dealing with software RAID cards. Even if they would be hardware RAID cards, they wouldn't be supported by NasLite. You can find the supported hardware here.

Well in this case it very might well work. In fact it is a hardware RAID controller. The interface is not PCI or anything of the sort but rather it is a target for the SATA controller on the motherboard. IE it connects to the SATA controller on the motherboard and handles RAID on the chip of the card. Interesting configuration and idea, kinda slick to be honest. I will read more on it and maybe even get one to play with and see how it fares.

Looked a bit for one of the cards or any card or device that uses the chip but to no avail. Interesting chip though. They want an NDA before providing design and application data on it. Guess that they are not interested in selling it and ramping volumes.
