Hi all.
:)

As per the subject line, does NASLite-2 x64 support hard-drives bigger then 2.5TB?

As NASLite uses the Linux filesystem, I don't think there is a problem there(unlike Windows), but I just need to check first.

Thanks.
:)

BTW - what is the current situation with the FSCK checking that puts many people off NASLite?

Also, while I think of it, does NASLite-2 have a Linux command line?
The older versions do not.

Hi

Some answers

FSCK is activated every X boots (for my 3 drives between 24 et 32) or 180 days of activity. The "every x boot" can be set to any number you like via a Linux utilities CD or any Linux distro boot CD but I don't think that the 180 days check can be changed (I'm not sure of this). BUT, reducing the FSCK is, in my opinion, a bad issue. Even though NL is very stable and reliable, bad things can happen and not checking drives is like not making backups :(

No, there is no "command lines" interface in NL.

And, as for 2,5 Tb drives, I don't have those but I remember reading posts on the forum with 4Tb RAIDs working OK.

Regards

Robby
