just got a new laptop with windows 7 -64bit on it - went to turn telnet on in the Microsoft extras - that seemed to work but it does work for me - i run that script of Georg's to turn the naslite system on and off - fine on a 32 bit system - nothing on 64bit

also the terminal from within naslite via the webpage does not open - google has all sorts of stuff about 64 bit windows 7 and problems - most of it i dont understand - apart from it does not work

is anybody using windows 7 64bit and got telnet working with georg's script

or will anybody who is using windows 7 64bit try it

will post it here if you need it

note - cannot go back to 32bit - there are no drivers for it - thanks Dell!!

thanks Doug - alter the ip on the first line to your naslite ip and also your name and password [if you have changed it] and run it with your Naslite box running - it should open the config screen - i just get an error

you can also try opening the info screens via a browser an click on the terminal icon - again that should open the terminal - mine does nothing

both worked/work on 32 bit systems

have been reading and come across something that says to replace the 64bit telnet program with one from a 32bit version of windows - not tried that yet

what version of windows 7 are you using - this is home premium - came with the laptop - cannot see it being that - but who knows?

You might be wrong. Did you try to find out which components it has? http://hdt-project.org/
I recently bought a 64bit HP and went back to 32bit without a lot of trouble (though HP had a complete driver list ready...)
