I have two naslite serveres now wich are running fine.
Is it possable to make a automated backup / mirror one a week ? i am using the mirror funtion at the moment
but that mirror each night, if a file is deleted my mistake i have till midnight to notice then it's gone.
the idea of a weekly mirror/ back up is that i have at a few days to notice .

any ideas on the way to go ?

Example . .
disk - 0 Working Disk
disk - 1 Mirror disk ( each night )
disk - 2 2nd mirror disk

disk 1 mirrors disk 0 each and every night
after X Amount of days disk - 2 Mirrors disk -0 (could be weekly or monthly)

Using NL ... only way I can think of doing what you ask is by

a] creating a second server and moving Disk 2 to it. Power it on only each interval X (this power on could be automated with a Wake-On-Lan function and a Windows PC a TaskManager Task). Power off manually or via a script.
b] make Disk-2 a USB external disk on the server. Manually plug it in at any time before backups (like at bedtime and let it run unattended over night).

Hope this helps.
