 Post subject: naslite 2 x64

Just downloaded naslite x64 i am looking for a manuel can anybody point me in the right direction ?

having some setup probs

made usb boot drive as previous naslite 2 setup

machine boots and loads naslite - get naslite core 3 x 64 screen

screen clears machine beeps once then i get

"No setup signature found" message on screen

This may be a stupid question but... Are you running a 64Bit processor?

i am yes, the set up dosn't allow you to make the usb flash drive if not.

i found that out when i tried to make my usb drive with my old pc :lol:

System is as follows :

foxconn P43AL motherboard
4Gig DDR2 677 ram (Matched 2 Gig Pair)
Intel Celeron Processor E3300 (1M Cache, 2.50 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
samsung spintpoint sp2504c hard drive

The above has run 64 bit windows before getting retired

The error indicates that NL can't find the config device. How did you install?

Hi Tony,

I fitted a dvd drive to the machine and booted up of the cd i made,

i then made the usb device by using option i then exiting the utillaty , then removed the dvd drive
and booted from the usb stick - should i have left the dvd drive in ?

Steve

Have you tried a different USB Device as I suspect that may be the problem also be sure to set it to use the whole device (Well thats what I do anyway).

If you need to test with anything else drop my a PM I am not a million miles from you so may be able to help out.

Try disabling USB2 in the BIOS.

working now many thanks for your help, used the boot option on the make flash drive screen

Could do with a manuel if there is one ? can anybody point me in the right direction,

as cannot find the bit to format drive and mount it . looked in option 3

But cannot seam to find my drive listed ?
