Hi Steve,

Naslite does not spin the drives down, i'd power off the server.

Be sure and do an orderly shutdown via the terminal or log in at the server and shut it down from the menu.

Is there any way to reduce total system power thru drive spindown using Naslite?
My BIOS does not have good support for this.
Otherwise a fantastic product!

Thanks

Not really without using say a green drive like the WD's. You could move to an Atom processor board or just under clock the processor on your MB. Allot of the board/processors are kinda overkill for the job and underclocking them will not impact performance in any really noticeable fashion.
