Hey guys;

I resolved my raid controller problem by installing a 3Ware Escalade 7506 card I found on eBay. Now NASLite sees the raid volume. But now when I try to map a network drive, Windows can't find the NASLite device on the network. The router sees the IP address for the device; I can ping my client computers from NASLite and I can ping the NASLite IP from a client computer. Can anybody tell me what I need to do to fix this? Thanks, ljames44.

Are the Windows machine and the NASLite server both on the same workgroup?

Yes, they are in the same workgroup. And the problem has been solved. I don't know what happened but I turned it on yesterday, pinged one of the computers, and suddenly there was the NASLite device available to my client computers. I was able to map the drives in the device with no problem. Ah the wonderful world of Windows!! Thanks for replying to my question.
