 Post subject: cf or DOM size on 2.6

whats the minimum cf or DOM size on 2.6 - i have a 16meg dom that i would like to use - i can install the software to it and boot the system but when i try too save the config i get


unable to access configuration device [FAIL]


it worke fine on earlier versions

it installs onto a 16meg but no more - pity the DOM is a nice method - will have to look out for a bigger capacity one

I use the CF to ATA adapter and am really happy with that, upgrades are a cinch.

agree mike - the DOM was in the box and i used it - but if its too small then so be it - the cf/ide adaptor that fits in a pci backplate is good - no need to open the case to upgrade - as you say easy

Yah, mine fits in to the ATA slot on the MB and requires a floppy power adapter but since I need to access it maybe only once a year it is not an issue. I use the excuse to blow out the dust from the case.
