I've had a few problems with my existing system. It rebooted itself a few days ago, and i've had a little bit of odd behaviour which i thought was my Vista based HTPC, but am wondering if it's the server.
I'm running version 2.06 and there is an error message "user.debug kernel: eth0: too many iterations (6) in nv_nic_irq"
The onboard NIC is an intel Pro/1000 and the system has been running for a while without any problems.

Thanks

Colin

I don't remember the exact message, but it sounds very similar to what happened to me some time back (also 2.06). I shutdown, unplugged everything both internally on motherboard ( IDE cables, SATA cables, PSU cable from motherboard ) and externally (power, net, kbd, lcd). After re-seating all connections all was well. Can't explain it ( a simple reboot did not do it ).

If you have PCI cards, re-seat those too. Also replug the network cable at the other end (router, hub or whatever you have).
