Hi,

Does anyone know if this old server (with 5 Hdds) running NT4 would work with NASLite?

I have no need for it as it previously acted as a domain controller for my home based small business. I now have MS small business server 2003 on a newish dell with domain controlling built in...

So instead if it sitting there gathering dust i thought it could act as an FTP server?

Thanks
Martin

The basic machine should work. You will likely find that a gigabit Ethernet card is a good idea. Also questionable if the SCSI controller will work for you since Compaq hardware is kinda funky. I would say give it a try as there is nothing to be lost.
