NASLite Network Attached Storage

I have been using Naslite 2 USB for two years and must say that it is a wonderful product.

As my mobo cannot be booted from USB directly i need to use the kicker floppy disk in every booting.

As floppy disk has become something of the past which also does not have good usable lifespan, is there anyway that kicker CD can be made for booting instead?

Appreciate any feedback from guru who can enlighten me.

yes it's possible

this is how I did it
- made the kicker floppy
- extracted a boot image with Magic ISO Maker
- created a new cd image with the boot image and the floppy files
- saved that as kicker.iso
which you can find here
you just need to burn the iso to a cd

would an easier way be to upgrade to the latest version - 2.10? which supports hdd, usb and cdd booting - that way you can just boot directly from cdd
