Hi,

Is there anyway to use the nas volumes via direct attach? I recently went to a Mac and it would be better if I could connect directly via firewire to the array.

If not does anybody know if there is a DIY raid controller to firewire controller out there?

Thanks,
Jason

Why would you want to do that? FireWire is very slow compared to GigE.

You can direct attach the NL box to the apple via the NIC if you want to.

Well apparently the Mac (iMovie) won't allow you to save video projects to a network drive, only direct attached.

Yet another reason that the Mac OS sucks, DRM is a total pain in the ass. Good luck with that.
