Hi,

I just purchased the HDD version and installed it without a hickup...
My problem is that I have port 21 opened to this box from the internet, although, I don't want everyon to have access to ftp. I need to setup userrname/password for FTP specifically. How can I do this?

There is no password protection on the NL server software, take it off of the internet and share the files through some sort of VPN if you must have access to them via the internet.

And no, there will likely be no password protection mechanism available in the future on NL. There are a number of threads that deal with this exact issue and a search of the forums will yield a plethora of information about it.
