Hi,

I had a remote login session which was interrupted due to a network failure. Now the login is locked. It's not even possible using the local NAS console.

Is the only solution to restart the NAS?
I don't like this considering the risk of causing Disk problem.

Momentarily pressing the power button should cause an orderly shutdown - it certainly does on my NASLite-2 server.

Instead as admin login as reboot using your admin password. That will reboot the server on login.

Hi,

Had to use the hardware reset.

Thanks for the hint to use the reboot. Will try this asap. Seem to be a more friendly way to reboot.
This only works when the admin is locked, apparently.

Please include it in the next release of the Manual.
