Hi, I'm working on my 3rd naslite box and this time I'm putting in a 1TB drive. I've got 5 or 6 smaller drives that I'm wanting to get the data onto the nas box so I'm looking for a way of doing it on a local machine instead of over the network. I did some looking around for a way to mount the ext2 drive in windows and found this http://www.fs-driver.org/index.html. Has anyone used this or something similar? If I do get the drive mounted in windows, then I should be able to copy my data to the drive, stick it back in the nas box and everything should work??

Thanks,

Grinch843....

In theory, yes. Remember that MS don't want you doing anything in another file system so there may be a bit of a hitch. Why not just start the copy before you go to bed and when you wake all will be done.
