NASLite is only my second foray into the NAS/Server realm (my first was setting up an Ubuntu PHP and SQL server in order to experiment with an open source shoppig cart my company was using at the time) and the first time I've seriously monitored system load, so I have a question about it.

Mine was running as high as 131%, memory at 98% while transferring large files last night. What's the best way to drop the system load- faster processor or add memory?

Processor: i686 AMD Athlon(tm) Processor AuthenticAMD 1100.076 2195.45 256 KB
Memory: 375MB Total

More memory is almost always the better way to go and is generally much cheaper to boot. For a NAS application the processor is of much less concern than the amount of memory.
