Hi All,

I have three NASLite-2 servers up & working now, excellent product thanks.

I upgraded my first NASLite-2 Server's hardware over the last week & I'm having an issues with the no board nic is not reconised & I had to insert an old Intel 10/100 PCI nic to get the server up.

I upgraded the motherboard, cpu & ram to (i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel 2000.022 3984.58 64 KB) , as reported by NASLite-2.

Is it possible that this hardware is not 100% compatible with Version 2.4.35.NASLite ? The Hardware Reference Guide has little to no on board referance.

Any ideas :?: :?: :?:

Some of the on board NICs may not be supported on the newer MBs since NL uses an old Linux 2.4.2x kernel. There are hopes that they will move to the 2.6.xx kernels before the end of the year. I hope I hope!!!!!! With it there should be better support of more modern hardware, likely at the expense of support for the older hardware.
