Thanks everyone

19 views but no single reply or hint.

I found the solution , I flushed the NASlite software and installed Ubuntu Server, now everything works fine.

I want to thank you all specially ServerElements team and devs. thanks for your incredible no-support for a soft that I bought from you.

An unsatisfied customer. ( = many new ones lost )

If you are interested in an answer, then the least you should have done is clue us in on what the heck type of error you are getting. I was one of the 19 that didn't answer for that very reason. I'm sure other users did the same.

So happy that you are an unsatisfied customer, congrats on being an idiot!

Most if not all forums are manned by users with the moderators throwing in now and then. You say that you are having a problem and give only the most general description of what it is. You fail to provide any concrete information about the workstation and the version of Linux you are using. Since you are likely not much of a computer user by the sound of your post I will answer your question with one. Are you using a live CD of a Linux distro and if so which one? If you installed from one of these you may have a permission issue with Linux. The problem you have is not related to NL. I have been using it with every imaginable machine out there from PCs running win3.11, win95, win98se, win2000pro, win NT4, winXP, win Vista ultimate, as well as Linux and Solaris to various Apple Macs running OS7, OS8, OS9, and OSX, six different Sun hardware platforms running Solaris7, Solaris8, Solaris9, Solaris10. Not much of a hitch on any but some of the Macs due to apple BS.

Ubuntu is a good distro but have fun patching and tunning and setting permissions. If you are lucky you will get close to the performance and stability that most of us enjoy.

Mike
