Before installing NASLite-2 on my file server, I used Ubuntu 7.10 Server. I was easily able to use WOL to turn on the server at-will from both my Windows XP desktop or my MacBook Pro , running OS X Leopard. However, it won't work with NASLite-2 installed on the server, and I don't see any configuration setting that will allow it.

Am I missing something? :?:

WOL has nothing to do with operating systems etc so its not a NASLite related problem. A "magic" packet is sent over your ethernet telling the machine to boot and its all taken care of pre-boot ie software-independent (on the hostside obviously). Have you changed any settings in your BIOS between running Ubuntu and NASLite? I am using WOL successfully on my NASLite machine.

I don't think so, but I'll take a look at the BIOS after today's backups are complete.
