I'm planning upgrading from NASLite to version 2. I assume that I won't have to do anything with my existing HD's and they will be recognized by NASLite-2. I just want to make sure that there won't be any chance of loosing any data. Thanks!

That is it, I have done this a few times and it came off without a hitch. Be sure and apply the Journal to the file systems after you are sure all is well and working, it helps the FS recover faster after a power outage to the server.

Thanks for the info Mike. That gives me more confidence to go ahead with the upgrade. I'll take your advise on the Journal. I've had the power outage issue a few times and it takes a while for everything to come back up.

Everything went well with the upgrade and I did do the Journal option as you suggested. Thanks again.
